I've looked the tutorial at shadowness. This one is in Jooli's own words with own example's. Even though she could have said she got the idea from shadowness it's still her own tut.

hey joseph,
i'd have to disagree with you here...
it's not impossible for different people to come up with same style of tutorial, is it?
i mean..look at all those photoshop text effects tutorials that popped out around the mid 1990s (chrome, metal, fire) all over the net.....all of them same tutorials....some were identical and some were similar techniques...
i even did several similar images to the one shown on this tutorial a year ago but not by reading this tutorial....did it while playing wiht filters and layers in PS....
since they all use the same filters and effects but different settings, it's obvious the result will be somewhat similar...
and knowing jooli for as long as i've known her, i KNOW she is not the type that takes credit for other people's work...never.....

no offense jooli and you all may think I'm a dick for this.....
but you said it yourself, you suck at photoshop.
you couldnt come up with that by yourself.
i am sticking by my belief that it is a rip from Shadowness.
Thats that.

no joseph, nobody will think you a dick...
it's an open forum here...everyone entitled to their own opinions...nothign wrong with that...
just that i'd think accusations should rather be conducted privately (emails, u2u, whatever) since as u said, "it's just ur belief" and NOT 100% fact.....just to be fair to everyone....
here's some of her past work :
http://www.dzygn.com/forums/viewthread.php?tid=553
and although not professional...i wouldnt say the person who did them suck in PS....
also, like ur other thread where some members misunderstood ur wordings (u were joking but some took ur post seriously), i don't think jooli meant that she really sucked in PS....i'd say that's just what anyone being modest would say.. or someone comparing themselves to janny or you (no sarcasm intended)....

nice tutorial, even though I have seen it at Shadowness. I dont think its the same one, and its always nice to see some different ways to come up with similar outcomes, u can combined them even sometimes to make it easier, and even at points improve the technique. Great job jooli.
