first vector work
decided to give illustrator a try today after trying some tutorials and this is what i came up with...
the bike was done completely from scratch, part by part, vector by vector..
it's still not completely finished, as u can tell...but might stop here for this image...
going to try to do a ducati 916 next using this model as base....
http://www.dzygn.com/works/vectorbike.jpg
enjoy!
ps..u can tell it's my first vector work...there are some areas which were "messed up" a bit...

looks great anders
can't really find too much to criticise really.. are there different styles of vector art? some stuff seems more 'retro' than others..

broadly, vector art can be broken up in 2 styles...the so-called "fake" vector and vector art...
term fake is used for vector art done in photoshop, which tries to "simulate" the feel of art done in illustrator or freehand, but it's still based in pixels..
while in illustrator/freehand, the user really uses vector lines/shapes to create art...the bike above actually looks a bit different (edge wise) in illustrator...
of course, in more indepth, there are many other styles of vector art....
