Hey,

Just lookin' for a little feedback. This is a third generation logo that we created for our website.

welcome to dz

some comments..
logos and banners are two different things...
logos are usually symbols or type or combination of them that represent something about ur organization/group..
banners are ads or headers displayed on ur site or someone else's site conveying some sort of message, and ur logo would usually be placed somewhere within the banner...

design wise, ur banner is too cliched.... avoid using "world wide web" or similar wordings on future designs...they have been way overused and abused...
avoid the earthly planet image as well if you can...
restrain from overusing photoshop text effects...makes design too amateurish..

an idea for ur logo is use ur name and design from there...
3WDG...create different styles/combinations using these 4 #letters
look at how design firm logos are created to get some inspirations...

Agree with what has been said above. If I was you I would start by looking at this article http://scratchmedia.co.uk/logos.cfm. It makes some good points when designing logo's.
