hi hzr,

welcome to the forums.
i've seen your site before...still think it's a great design...very clean, colors are nice, layout is simple....in short, a design that lasts..
i like the menu bar too..with the rollover rectangles, and shadows on the dropdown..

just a few minor suggestions...
why not use onmouseover instead of onclick to call up the submenus? i think that would be more user friendly...
also, might wanna adjust the time they stay open...right now, i have to click somewhere else in order for the submenus to disappear...
you should set so that when mouse leaves the submenus, it will auto close...

a question: why use a mechanic robot as bg image? not that it doesnt' look good (it fits with the site) but what type of site are you building?

keep up good work and let us know when you finish your site

Thanks man,
The reason why I use onclick (oh, it's even onfocus and onblur when you press anywhere else) instead of onmouseover is that there are problems with onclick on this menu in Netscape.
And for the content, I dunno what I should fill it with, I've just put it up because I like to build sites. Maybe later, just now, as I said, I have no content.

By the way, where did you get your nickname Anders from - Did you know that Anders is a common name in Sweden?

no, wasnt aware that Anders is a common swedish name...
the reasons i like using it are 'cause i think there's a nice ring to the name and also because it's the name of my favorite digital artist, Anders F. Ronnblom
i love his work...

Well, I searched for him on Altavista and he seems to come from Sweden. Do you know the LP "Alternativ Rock'n'Roll Cirkus"?

I found this site with info about him (In Swedish)
http://www.scandinavian-songs.se/f.html
I've also read that he is a respected graphic designer and have his own paper!
Can I see some of his work? A link or something?

You need to change that stuff so it doesn't just say, Menu 1 and Menu 2. That's bland, and when it open's to be Menu X that's not cool either!

Hey Webster. The reason is that the site is just in a sort of beta mode and is not filled with content!

i'm one of those people too...

unfortunately just found out that the loader freezes with NS4.

usually that would be a minor detail since they can just bookmark an internal page..but my site opens up in a small window w/ no way to get into the framed site except thru the loading page...

oh well....life goes on : )

Yeah, I know, but I centered it with tables, and now when I cleaned up the code and did all things in CSS I couldn't center it because the menus was displaced. I have tried with both CSS and JavaScript but it doesn't work. But i'm going to do it - one way or another!
