nice design but i preferred the old style where you have different bgimages per section...
you could have this one as ur main bgimage and the rest of the others for each sub section..
so when does the site goes live?

Yep anders this is the design for the news section there will be others in for the other sections, i'm trying to push for a heavy gothic look in a way, kind of weird to explain but hey!, launch should be august 2002

Lookin' good as always. This forum is definatley a better place than DC for graphics (over there, if it isn't code-happy, it isn't cool, or at least it seems).
One techy recommendation though: I think you should only have the scroll be available for arrows. The scroll "bar" is too thin (1px?) to really be able to grab and be useful.
I love the design though. DAYAM! Mmm, mmm, betta.
