3d Max... how to start off a...

got 3dMAX4.2 **
i've been looking for tutorials all over the place (mustve put like 100 searches through google etc)
i just can't find one the the totally dumb!

i just look at 3dmax and go... okay... whats this thing do... click... wierd circle... ok...

thats basically how it goes...

so can anyone point me in a direction for a total newb to 3dmax? i don't know NADA, and i mean NADA!

really depends what type of 3d you want to create...
the above url has tuts on creating 3d abstract images like the ones janny is famous for....

if u want to try 3d modeling, then http://computerarts.co.uk is a nice stop over..

but if you are starting with zero knowledge, its good to have somewhere to begin.

like a track & field runner:
it is not necessary to have these, but it sure helps to use the little footbraces to kick off with. sure he could finish the race without them, they just helps him start faster.
